In order to use the capacity of banking sector and using scholars point of views,a specialized meeting of electronic commerce and economy development road map was held in deputy of information technology and e-commerce development,ministry of industry, mine and trade on March 5, 2013. Managing directors and IT and legal managers of banks and institutions of finance and credit, attended this meeting. Some topics regarding obstacles, problems and solutions of e-banking ware discussed and reviewed by attendants. At the beginning of this meeting, Mr. paryab the project manager of developing Iran document of electronic commerce and economy development (road map) and the secretary general of Iranian e-commerce scientific association welcomed the attendants and provided some explanations about the importance and procedures of developing road map and the most important actions have been taken. He pointed out the large volume of activities done and the methodologies and strategies used in developing the road map which was appreciated by attendants. Then,the procedures of developing Iran document of electronic commerce and economy development (road map) was broad casted as a clip. After that, Mr. Mofateh, the executive deputy minister and deputy minister of IT and e-commerce in ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade and chairman of Iranian e-commerce scientific association gave a lecture. He pointed out the necessity of cooperation of different sectors including banks and joint projects on development of electronic commerce and economy. He noted that in the current circumstances the necessity of banking and e-commerce implementation in the country is of great importance, so in order to improve productivity and optimization in current economic situation and in the process of developing electronic commerce, the role of banks should be considered. Then,Ms. Oyar hossein the deputy of e-government development office in ministry of industry, mine and trade and the manager of modern systems of Iranian e-commerce scientific association provided some complementary explanations about the process of preparing and developing the road map. She noted that several meetings with presence of universities instructors and organizations'representatives were held. She mentioned that this document has been prepared in two volumes. In the first volume, the documents of electronic commerce and economy development road map and in the second volume the supporting documents have been provided. She also outlined the methodology of road map. Some of the topics presented were: the necessity of providing the document, reviewing upstream documents, risk management, stakeholders, mission and vision,strategies and solutions. Then the attendants were asked to express their opinions about the road map and the representatives of banks and institutions of finance and credit provided their opinions and ideas. At the end of this meeting, Mr. paryab provided some complementary explanations and answered to some questions regarding the road map and it was decided that the complementary opinions to be sent to the secretariat by March 13, 2013.
