Announcement – The last deadline for editing the accepted papers to be published in proceeding of the conference
Following the series of meetings held for developing electronic commerce and economy development road map, the forth meeting was held with attendance of universities and research centers instructors and members of Iranian e-commerce scientific association, in deputy of information technology and e-commerce development,ministry of industry, mine and trade on March 13, 2013. At the beginning of this meeting, Mr. paryab the project manager of developing Iran document of electronic commerce and economy development (road map) and the secretary general of Iranian e-commerce scientific association welcomed the attendants and provided some explanations about the importance and procedures of developing road map and the most important actions have been taken. Then,the procedures of developing Iran document of electronic commerce and economy development (roadmap) was broadcasted as a clip. Next,Ms. Oyarhossein the deputy of e-government development office in ministry of industry, mine and trade and the manager of modern systems of Iranian e-commerce scientific association provided some complementary explanations about the process of preparing and developing the roadmap. She outlined the objective of developing roadmap, the document strategic subjects, mission and vision, the structure of document, areas covered, implementation and deployment period, risk management and the methodology of developing roadmap. Then,Mr. paryab provided some explanations about the importance and the necessity of developing roadmap. He pointed out the large volume of activities done for developing this documents and said that increased competition on international level is one of the most important consequences of globalization. In these circumstances, we are faced with the amazing growth of information technology and widespread of e-commerce and hence reduced transaction cost and minimized geographical restrictions. So if firms want to remain in economic competition, the various information and communication tools with a clear vision and based on the organization's needs should be supplied and commissioned. He also pointed out the necessity of attention to trade and economic contexts. In his opinion, laying the ground work to develop ICT in organizational structure with adequate knowledge and positive attitude of managers, are so necessary. Therefore, paying special attention toe-commerce by authorities is of great importance. Thenthe attendants were asked to express their opinions about the roadmap. In this regard, the attendants provided their opinions. On the second part of this meeting, some topics regarding the future plans of the association and participation of members in holding the seventh national and first international conference on electronic commerce and economy were discussed.In this regard, Mr. paryab asked the attendants to express their opinions about future activities of the association and the attendants provided their ideas.Mr. Sadollah, the association steering council member; Mr. zeynivand, the legal member of the association and Dr. Mozayeni, the association inspector provided their opinions and ideas. At the end of this meeting, Mr. paryab provided some complementary explanations and answered to some questions regarding the roadmap and it was decided that the complementary opinions regarding the roadmap, to be sent to the secretariat of roadmap development by April 9, 2013
